Project Brief
The brief was to create a home that better supported a growing family while improving the way the space functioned day to day.
The clients wanted a home that felt more connected, practical and adaptable, with dedicated areas for both family life and entertaining. The focus was on creating a layout that balanced openness with clearly defined living zones.

A private parents' retreat featuring a walk-through robe and ensuite.

A sunken lounge room created a dedicated living zone, complemented by custom banquette seating and tailored joinery that maximised storage, functionality and connection throughout the home.

The end result
The completed home provides a much stronger connection between living spaces while creating flexibility for both everyday family life and entertaining.
The result is a home that feels larger and more refined, with each area designed to have a clear purpose while still feeling connected as a whole.

“What stood out most was the time and care invested in the design process. Mitch, Alex and the team took the time to understand how we wanted to live and challenged us to think beyond what we originally thought was possible.
The result is a home that feels uniquely ours, with thoughtful details and spaces that people immediately notice and talk about when they visit. Even now, guests are constantly asking who designed and built it.”
