Project Brief
This project involved updating a family home that had been passed down through generations.
The vision was to honour the home's history while creating a space that embraced the relaxed lifestyle and connection to nature that defines Manly living. The result needed to feel open, welcoming and suited to modern family life.
A reconfigured layout designed to improve flow and natural connection throughout paired with custom joinery designed to maximise functionality.
Timber VJ panelling extended throughout the home to create warmth, texture and continuity.
The end result
The completed home brought the outdoors in, creating a stronger connection to its harbour-side surroundings. The result was a calm, welcoming space that reflected both the character of the home and the vision of its owners.
